8.10 Relatively small amounts of alcohol affect tolerance to hypoxia (lack of sufficient oxygen). This tolerance

  1. deteriorates with increase of altitude.
  2. improves with increase of altitude.
  3. is not affected by altitude change.
  4. remains constant to 6,000 feet ASL.
